About the Artist
I was born in Red Bank New Jersey in 1996. I grew up in a military family, and spent most of my childhood in Fort Drum New York. I was an active drawer in my childhood and would draw out my emotions and create mini comics to tell stories. In the last few years of elementary school, I noticed how much I enjoyed drawing, and decided I wanted to become an artist when i grow up. At the age of 11, I moved to Paducah Kentucky and started to take art more seriously in Middle School and High School. I Graduated from West Kentucky Community technical College with an AFA, and obtained my BS in Studio Arts at Murray State University.
About the Work
I turned all of my focus on creating oil paintings, having the freedom to explore different techniques and color pallets that I picked up from my studies. Subjects I am drawn to include landscapes, still life, and on occasion, animals. Themes that I explore in my paintings are peace, joy, hope and thanksgiving. I hope viewers can experience the same emotions that inspired me when I paints my subjects.
