Photography is more than just a snap shot; it is an expression of our shared experiences and a window into the beauty of life. Since discovering her passion in 2008, Phyllis Russell has dedicated herself to capturing the distinct stories found within flowers, landscapes, architecture and travel. She believes that true photographic art brings lasting meaning to others.
Phyllis continuously refines her craft through advanced course work at the Paducah School of Art & Design and selective workshops across the United States. Her unique ability to weave powerful visual narratives has earned her numerous accolades. She has been recognized at the national level by the Garden Club of America, winning the prestigious GCA Novice of the Year Award in Photography at the 2018 annual meeting in San Francisco.
Through her lens, Phyllis invites viewers to pause and appreciate the unique, unrepeatable moments that connect people, places and nature.
