Michael Terra has been making art since the 1970’s and his career has included ceramics, painting and Public Art projects (if you are in Paducah the ‘Big Needle’ is one of his pieces). With his partner Victoria, he has been based in Paducah since 2008 and currently spearheads the Empty Bowls Project here.With a background in both building and architecture, he pays close attention to the longterm requirements of good Public Art and has done projects as far away as Chiapas, Mexico with Unesco
